Shooting The Breeze was completed in late May 2008 and posted to video sharing website YouTube on May 26th. The film began generating interest almost immediately and just over a week after it was unveiled on the website I was contacted by Renewable Energy Systems (RES), the company that constructed Carland Cross Windfarm where Shooting The Breeze was filmed.
RES offered a significant wad of cash for a non-exclusive deal to use the film, which I happily accepted. As a result, Shooting The Breeze has been displayed at various Wind Energy events in the UK and abroad, more details of which can be found at the bottom of this page.
Since early June I've received a great amount of positive feedback about the film. Requests have come in from film festival orangisers from literally all around the globe asking if they can exhibit the film, all of which I'm very greatful for although have had little time to deal with.
The film is also to get its first TV premiere very soon on Green.TV, albeit an internet broadband tv channel.
Thanks to everyone who has sent messages of support, without which I probably would never have been encouraged to continue making films. Watch this space for future project announcements.
